Citizens are local policies’ beneficiaries and protagonists. Each personal and social situation influences the need of specific food policies and strategies. With this panel we want to show how the right to food approach influences the urban local food policies. The best practices of the european project food smart cities’ partners will be presented and analysed by experts on the right to food. These are the practices chosen between those that guarantee the citizens’ right to food producers and consumers, students and adults (low wage or homeless)
